Meet jamie + Jill

Husband and wife, Jamie and Jill, created Nowita after years of sitting in an office daydreaming about creating something that was their own. While Jill wanted to be creative and start her own project, Jamie wished he could spend his days in the kitchen.

 

After developing a love of making ice cream and realising it tasted pretty good the idea of Nowita came one sunny afternoon! 

 

All of Nowita's ice cream is handcrafted in their Glasgow kitchen. The full time day jobs still exist so you'll usually find them churning late into the night!

SMALL BATCH

Producing small batch ice cream means a lot of care goes into every single tub. All those tasty extras (salted caramel, italian meringue, banana bread, chocolate honeycomb...) are homemade to ensure the highest quality!

LOCALLY SOURCED

We aim to source the majority of our ingredients from local independent stores and farms with our organic milk and cream coming from the lovely team over at Mossgiel Farm - check out our individual flavours to learn more about our locally sourced ingredients
